Outer Covering:
Ingredients :
Riceflour - 1 cup
Water - 1 cup
Oil/Ghee - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1 pinch
Method :
Mix all ingredients very well abd microwave it for 2 minutes on high power.
Remove and mix in the food processor with the soft blade till a ball is formed.
Filling :
Ingredients :
Fresh coconut - 2 cups
Jaggery - 1 cup
keshar,raisins,cashew chopped
Mix all and keep in microwave for 2 minutes on high.
If water remains keep another minute.
Shape the modak.
Dip each modak in water and then steam them in microwave for 3 minutes.
